What is hUSD ?
hUSD is a synthetic asset within the Noahswap ecosystem that can be synthetically minted using any token listed on Noahswap, paired with USDT, based on the token:USDT ratio. It is not directly pegged to the USDT or backed by any assets to maintain its value; however, it was intended to operate in the same way as a traditional stablecoin.
How hUSD maintain its value?
hUSD is not tradable on the market. Since it is not traded, the risk of depegging from USD is eliminated. Its primary and core function is to provide users with a stable return and enable swaps with HAM. Additionally, hUSD is only minted when assets are cast into the asset portfolio. In the contract, hUSD's value is hard-coded at $1 to mirror the $1 value of USD, classifying it as a synthetic asset.
